PROJECTS

AWH

  • AWH, a leading provider of logistics services for dangerous goods, engaged Salinger DC&W to consolidate their client’s dangerous goods inventory into a modern distribution centre. The challenge was to find a facility that met the complex compliance standards required for handling hazardous materials.

Despite tight time constraints, Salinger DC&W successfully secured an attractive lease for an existing 26,000 sqm facility at Laverton Logistics Centre. This facility was strategically selected to meet AWH’s operational needs while ensuring full compliance with dangerous goods regulations. The outcome provided AWH with a modern, compliant facility that consolidated their operations and improved safety and efficiency.

DSV Solutions

  • Salinger successfully negotiated the lease of a 28,000 sqm distribution centre at Oakdale South – one of Sydney’s premier industrial locations – to support DSV’s expanding logistics operations. We also assigned or sublet two nearby facilities of 12,000 sqm and 8,000 sqm to support the client’s goal of consolidation, enhancing both cost reduction and operational efficiency.

CH2

  • For nearly 20 years, Salinger DC&W has been the trusted partner of Clifford Hallam Healthcare, Australia’s leading hospital supply group with an annual turnover exceeding A$3 billion. CH2 required a nationwide consolidation of its pharmaceutical distribution centres to streamline its supply chain, enhance operational efficiency, and meet stringent regulatory standards.

Salinger delivered new, state-of-the-art facilities in every state, equipped with environmental features to reduce operating costs and enhance sustainability. Each facility meets the stringent standards required for pharmaceutical storage, allowing CH2 to streamline its national operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Penguin Random House

  • As a trusted, repeat client of Salinger DC&W, Penguin Random House needed to streamline its logistics operations by consolidating multiple warehouses into one state-of-the-art facility. They sought a purpose-built warehouse that would not only meet their immediate operational needs but also future-proof their supply chain with cutting-edge technology and workplace integration.

Salinger successfully negotiated the pre-lease of a purpose-built 38,225 sqm warehouse – the largest industrial lease in southeast Melbourne since 2012. This flagship facility, announced in 2023, is equipped with a cutting-edge automation system, ensuring Penguin Random House’s distribution network is future-proofed for years to come.

Agility Logistics

  • Agility Logistics, a global leader in supply chain and logistics, engaged Salinger DC&W to manage their national lease portfolio and support the strategic expansion of their operations across Australia. Agility sought to consolidate facilities, reduce occupancy costs, and facilitate their growing client base – all while maintaining operational efficiency across key locations.

Through our strategic tenant representation and expert portfolio management, Salinger helped Agility Logistics achieve its expansion goals, growing its national footprint while securing significant cost savings and operational efficiencies. Our approach enabled Agility to consolidate its facilities and restructure lease agreements across Australia, ultimately realising considerable opex savings while ensuring that each facility met their logistical and operational needs.

Early Settler

  • Early Settler sought to strategically expand its warehouse footprint, ensuring operational efficiency while securing significant cost savings throughout its expansion journey.

Through Salinger’s strategic tenant representation and close collaboration with Early Settler, the retailer has successfully expanded their warehouse footprint in Melbourne from 5,000 sqm to 38,000 sqm. This growth supports the increasing demands of their store network across Australia and New Zealand.

Completed in 2022, the expansion included the largest industrial lease in southeast Melbourne at the time, positioning Early Settler for continued operational success. Salinger’s expertise in cost negotiation and strategic planning ensured that Early Settler maximised value across every transaction, reinforcing a partnership built on trust, results, and long-term vision.

SEKO Logistics

  • Salinger DC&W was engaged by SEKO Logistics, a global leader in supply chain solutions, to conduct a national review of its leased warehouse portfolio. Salinger advised and implemented a complex lease assignment and surrender strategy to capture substantial profit rental for the client and allow SEKO to reposition its logistics footprint for greater flexibility and future growth.

Toshiba

  • Toshiba appointed Salinger DC&W to advise on the relocation of its national headquarters and warehouse operations to a new facility in Winston Hills. The company required a consolidated site that could accommodate both its corporate offices, R&D, assembly, and logistics functions under one roof, with improved operational flow and long-term lease security.

Salinger delivered a tailored solution through a purpose-built facility that reflects Toshiba’s brand and operational needs. The new site enhances supply chain efficiency, supports staff wellbeing, and provides strategic proximity to key infrastructure, positioning Toshiba for continued growth in the Australian market.

Virgin Active

  • Virgin Active engaged Salinger DC&W to secure a flagship location in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, as part of its strategic expansion across Australia’s premium fitness market. The objective was to identify and secure a high-profile site capable of supporting Virgin Active’s luxury wellness offering and brand positioning.

Salinger led the search, negotiation, and off-market transaction process, securing a landmark space that met the brand’s requirements for visibility, accessibility, and scale. The result is a state-of-the-art facility that anchors Virgin Active’s presence in Sydney and reinforces its positioning as a leader in the health and wellness sector.
